Youth Protection Training for Authorized Adults

If you are classified as an Authorized Adult under UW-Madison’s youth protection policy and do not have a NetID from UW-Madison, you are in the right place. This training will help you understand your role as an Authorized Adult and provide you with background information on the types of concerns you need to report to others in your youth activity.

Training Instructions

  • The course will take approximately 30–45 minutes to complete and must be finished in one sitting.
  • There are 5 sections, each containing knowledge checks and required activities.
  • After completing all 5 sections, you must pass a four-question quiz with a score of 100%.
  • Once you successfully complete the training, you will be prompted to fill out a form with your personal information. This step is required to document and track your training completion.
