Your Partner in Youth Protection

More than 100,000 youth, from preschool to high school seniors, participate in over 1,400 youth activities offered at our through UW-Madison each year. Participants engage in experiences ranging from STEM camps and hands-on environmental learning to campus field trips, 4-H projects, academic competitions, arts workshops, sports camps, and college preparation programs. These experiences, which are offered throughout the state, provide opportunities for youth to explore their interests and make meaningful connections with the university.

Behind every youth activity is the intentional work required to create environments where young people can safely learn and grow. This is youth protection in action, guided by UW-Madison’s youth protection policy,  UW-1045 Youth Protection.
