Office of Youth Protection

The Office of Youth Protection (OYP) serves as a support unit to campus, assisting schools, colleges, and divisions with providing safe and effective environments in a wide range of youth activities that take place on and off campus. OYP assists staff throughout the university by:

• Answering questions about youth protection policy and best practices.
• Developing guidance and resources to support effective implementation of policy requirements.
• Assessing the compliance status of registered youth activities.

Staff in the Office of Youth Protection are available year-round for consultations about new and existing youth activities.
