Understanding the Youth Protection Policy

UW-Madison is committed to the wellbeing of all members of the university community and recognizes that youth are a vulnerable population that requires special attention.

The Youth Protection policy is designed to promote three types of protection: protection for youth who participate in youth activities; protection for university employees and volunteers; and protection for the university as an institution.
